Gas Heated Wastewater Evaporators

Equipment Manufacturing Corporation (EMCn ) manufactures three natural gas/propane heated wastewater evaporators. Gas evaporators are energy efficient and offer higher evaporation rates. The installation consists of a 110 Volt electrical line, gas hookup, and water vapor vent stack.

The Model 120G evaporates approximately fifteen gallons of water per hour, has a 120 gallon holding tank, and is available in carbon or 316L stainless steel construction. This gas evaporator is heated via a six inch diameter burner tube. The tube is perimeter mounted and the floor is sloped and U shaped to facilitate cleanout.

The Model 240G evaporates approximately twenty-two gallons of water per hour, has twice the tank capacity of the Model 120G, and is available in carbon or 316L stainless steel construction. This gas evaporator is heated via a six inch diameter burner tube. The tube is perimeter mounted and the floor is sloped and U shaped to facilitate cleanout.

The Model 375G evaporates approximately forty gallons of water per hour, has a 375 gallon holding tanks and is available in carbon or 316L stainless steel construction. This gas evaporator is heated via a six inch diameter burner tube that makes three passes within the tank. The tube is perimeter mounted and the floor is sloped and U shaped.

* - Evaporation rate is affected by ambient temperature and humidity, altitude, solids on heat exchanger, floating materials, chemicals/ minerals which may raise the solution boiling point, exhaust restrictions, building pressure differential, low voltage, gas pressure, etc. ** - Materials of Construction: The standard tank is carbon steel. The 316L Stainless Steel option includes the floor, inner side walls, top tank frame, rear decking, exhaust stack, drain & fill couplings, and the burner tube on gas heated machines. All material sizes (gauges & diameters) remain the same.
